Sure, so long as it would just make the person sort of luckier in the competition, not magically make them win. I thing it should be a bit more energy-consuming, though.

You need another sentence in your RP example. How many times a day can she use her luck? Are the knives celestial bronze?

Also, though this isn't required, it would be nice if your form was a bit more descriptive. I suggest looking in the User Character Topics forum for inspiration.
