Austin heard Red explaining lattitude an longitude to Suephrom. He figured that she would do fine and he turned to walk away.

BIC: "So there's more imaginary lines beside them. Ones like this," I pointed at the Equator, "Are latitude lines, and they're horizontal. The vertical ones are called longitude lines. Together they form a grid, and coordinates on that grid are locations." I looked at Suephrom, sastified with my wonderful explanation.

Since i was now on the same side of the desk as Madeline, I was almost uncomfortably close to her as I stared at the map.

Meh. I just sat there, wondering if Suephrom would notice how very, very close to me he was, and how very, very well-behaved I was being in not kissing him again.

Austin walked over to the two statues and sat next to them. And for one of the few times that would ever in his life do it, he prayed to either of them to give him some kida note saying where his dam* army was at.

I kept staring at the map. "What are these red lines?" I asked, pointing at them.

"Tectonic plates." I said. Oh, it would be so, so very easy to kiss him right now. But it's have to be a surprise. I learned forward and in Suephrom's direction slightly, and pretended that I wasn't doing it on purpose.

A Loki Note accompanied by a teleporting boot appeared next to Austin. 'Pick up boot to be returned to desired location.'

Austin picked up the note and then the boot. He was thinking of where his army is more then likely at soon he vanished, Off to Egypt.

I started leaning towards the map and, consequently, towards Madeline. "Which are?" I asked, too engrossed by the map to notice what I was doing.

I was barely an inch from Madeline by now, without even realizing it. "That's amazing." I muttered, still staring at the projection.

I finally realized that Madeline was about a half-inch from kissing me. I could have stood up and backed away, but I just decided to lean in and kiss her.

Ah, victory was mine. But because I wanted to mess with Suephrom's mind, I scooted my wheeled chair backwards and broke the kiss after about five seconds. "Oh, sure, I'm the one who's being too forward."

I sighed, and rolled my eyes. "Have you ever considered that you might drive me away by messing with my head so?" I asked. She would probably reply sarcastically about how she was unaware that she was doing that.

"If I didn't mess with your head, you'd think I was boring," I said quite confidently, and spun around in my chair again. Gods, this was fun.

I shrugged. I guess she had a point. "Are you going to take me to Cairo, or just keep me here to mess with as you please?" I asked. I belatedly realized that sounded odd.

I laughed. Oh, this was rich... "You can pick," I answered with yet another of my wonderful smirks. Notice how I always describe myself as wonderful, because I am.

I sighed as the blood rushed to my face again. "I'm sure you'd rather have a bit of leave from this boring place. Would you like to help with the battle?" I offered. Mine as well place half-trust in someone.

I sighed. No, apparently I couldn't even try being nice to her without being shot down. I guess that was what she was good at. It would make her a good commander, I guess, and a worthy ally. Other than that, I should think of her as nothing else.
