Delilah is fourteen years of age.
Description:
Though she is dimwitted, Delilah is surprisingly not a blonde. She has quite long, dark brown hair that is straight, along with dark brown eyes to match. She is relatively tall, standing at a height of five feet and six inches precisely. She has a slight build, but is a decent fighter nonetheless.
God and mortal parent:
However surprising, Delilah's mother is... Athena. Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. Her father is a very hot, now retired musician named Norris Harold. Norris' last name differs from Delilah's for he chose to legally change his name to his stage name. His true, given name was Pip Poe.
Powers**:
Delilah has absolutely NO powers.
Flaws***:
Well, most people would feel sorry to say this, and Delilah herself would never admit it if her life depended on it, but she is dumb as a flipping doornail. Well, maybe not dumb. She is average booksmart wise, but she is quite dimwitted and forgetful. Also, she has the seemingly uncommon flaw; hubris. She thinks that she's highly intelligent and that everything will always go her way. As well as all of this, Delilah can judge people very quickly, and let's just say her judgement is pretty bad.
Pets:
Delilah does not own a creature at camp. She does; however, own a horse at home that she named herself. Its name is Peony.
Weapon****:
Delilah fights with whatever she can get her hands on, but she's usually best with knives.
Talents/Skills:
Well, Delilah thinks she can sing, but she cannot, but... Delilah thinks she can do a lot of things that she simply fails miserably at. It would be saddening, if she would not always be so annoying. One thing Delilah can do well is fight, and she has a great sense of fashion and is good with makeup. (Her mother must be so proud.)
RP Example*:
Delilah walked vaguely into the mess hall at camp, trying to figure out what she should eat today. Would she go with a salad? But didn't salad consist of leaves, that once had bugs crawling all over them? Delilah didn't know. She grabbed an apple and a napkin, and sat down at a random table.
Biography*:
Delilah arrived to her father while he was onstage playing a gig in a bar, and he freaked out, but, having expected the child for a while after his meeting with the estranged goddess, was he really surprised? Norris took the child in and dragged her on tour with him, wherever he went. He attempted to homeschool her through her primary years of school, but that only worked for so long. By the time Delilah had turned eight, Norris Harold was prepared to take on a semi-normal life as a rich, retired single father.
Delilah and her father moved to southern Kansas, and Delilah did manage to pick up a very slight drawl in her time living there. Upon their arrival, Norris immediately enrolled her in a preparatory school for children like her, and however badly she did in her courses he loved her anyway. Monsters began attacking her once her mother randomly claimed her at age 11, and her father finally had the heart to ship her off to Camp Half Blood just days after her fourteenth birthday, after countless attempts at estate protection, security and the renewed pickup of her at home studies. Now, as of July 2011, Delilah Poe is entering camp for the very first time.
