I raised an eyebrow. "Cool," I said to her, honestly. "i've always wanted to go out of country."

Puck shrugs and says, "I don't recommend Venezuela. From what I hear has been going on there lately..."

I nodded slowly, knowing what she's talking about. "Yeah, I know, but I just want to get out of the country."

"Yeah. It must of been a relief to come here," I said to her.

"Well, yeah, I guess. Nothing's ever the same. By the time I came to America, I felt like I've seen everything there was to see in Venezuela."

"Fourteen, roughly," Puck says, shrugging again. "I lost track."

I raised an eyebrow. "You lost track of your own age? Don't you have a birth ceritificate or something?" I asked.

Puck looks down at her feet and mutters, "My mom died when I was five and I ran away from social security...I didn't, and still don't, wanna be put at a foster home."

I nodded and looked down at the ground. "If it makes you feel any better, my little sister died," I murmured softly.

"Sure," I said and coughed slightly. I didn't want to remember my sister anyway. "Anyway, what do you like to do?"
