I headed towards New Rome from the Mess, thinking about what had just occurred. That Nigerian whatever had been pretty creepy - I wasn't sure what would had happened if that one guy hadn't interrupted the strangeness. I felt bad for just leaving like that, but I had a strange feeling that I needed to come to New Rome... and strange feelings were things best listened to.

In the midst of my wanderings, I somehow managed to walk straight into someone {and that someone happens to be Rumor}. Oops... how embarrassing... I flushed, and mumbled an embarrassed apology.

Someone ran into me, and I shook my head for a second. Surprised. "Uhm, may I.. help you?"

"Sorry- uh, I did not mean t... er, sorry..." I always felt so embarrassed when my handicap caused stupid situations like this... I tugged nervously at the edge of my blindfold, as if it could somehow magically cover up my reddened face.
