Physical Description:
Annabeth is a slender but built girl, with tan skin and standing at about the same height as, maybe a bit shorter than, her best friend and boyfriend, Percy. She’s athletic, and she looks it. She is described as pretty, with long blonde hair that curls itself like a princess, as Percy states in The Lightning Thief. She often wears her hair up in a ponytail, and she has stormy grey eyes that are hard to decipher. Annabeth isn’t really one for makeup or fashion, usually just wearing her orange Camp Half Blood t-shirt with shorts, her camp necklace and sometimes owl earrings from her father.
Personality description:
Naturally, being a demigod, Annabeth has a very complex personality, and almost every aspect of her has a reason behind being the way it is. I’m going to start off simply.
Annabeth’s fatal flaw is hubris, or fatal pride. This means that she is uncontrollably proud and strives to succeed at everything, that she feels like she can do everything and wants to, even though she knows she can’t. She’s possessive of people, which is shown through her jealousy of Rachel and Percy’s relationship and her behavior when she learned of Percy’s stay on Calypso’s Isle, but there are other reasons behind this as well. Due to the repeated loss or betrayal of loved ones such as Luke, her father and Thalia, Annabeth used to have a difficult time trusting or opening up to anyone, though this has lessened since she became friends with Percy. She also has an extremely irrational fear of spiders and she is also scared of Cyclopes, but this fear has lessened since she met Tyson, Percy’s brother. Annabeth is stubborn, but this isn’t always a bad thing.
While all of this may sound bad, Annabeth has many redeeming qualities which make her a strong and admirable character. She is ingenious, wise and quick, taking after her mother, Athena in that she can come up with a battle strategy extremely quickly. She reads a lot, despite her dyslexia, and enjoys studying architecture so much so that she’ll prattle on about it to anyone who she can get to listen to her. Commonly she’s witty and sarcastic, making satiric comments here and there. She is loyal and loving to those she trusts and strong, someone you’d like to have on your side. While she is strong and attempts to hide her emotions, this is not always effective and she tends to store her emotions inside of her to deal with later, keeping them pent up until she’s about to burst. At times she has been broken, but working through her hardships has made her into a better person. She is wise, strategic, devoted and a bit rash at times, but she is Annabeth and she’s amazing. ((Well, okay, that’s an opinion, but WHATEVER. xDD))
History:
Annabeth was born a brain child of Athena, delivered to her father’s doorstep in a golden cradle. Her father was hesitant to receive her at first and he even asked Athena to take her back, being a hard worker who was not planning on a child, but he agreed to take her in nonetheless, even though he didn’t want her. He moved on from his love affair with Athena, quickly falling for Annabeth’s stepmother, and they got married when she was five and had children together. From then on, it all went downhill. Her stepmother did not particularly like Annabeth, the daughter of her husband’s mysterious lover before her, especially due to the monsters and baggage the child brought with her. Her father was relatively weak, siding with her stepmother, and the two began to ostracize and neglect Annabeth. Monsters attacked their home frequently, due to the fact that Annabeth was a daughter of Athena, a major Olympian goddess.
Annabeth was constantly blamed for the attacks on her family, even though she could not control them, and felt so detested that she made the decision to run away from home when she was only seven. She was forced to fend for herself in the world, and she would not have been able to do this without some godly assistance since she only had a hammer with which to defend herself. Eventually she was discovered by Luke, son of Hermes, and Thalia, daughter of Zeus, fellow runaways who took her under their wing on their journey to Camp Half Blood. Along their journey they met Grover and arrived at camp. They faced a battle at Half Blood Hill and Thalia, who had become like a sister to Annabeth, was nearly killed and transformed into a pine tree by her father, Zeus. She and Luke, who had also become very close with her along with Grover, were devastated with their loss.
Annabeth went about life at camp pretty normally up until she turned twelve, learning how to defend herself and constantly longing for an opportunity to go on a quest. This opportunity arose with the arrival of one Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, her mother’s enemy. He was the key to her getting on a quest, but he was also the child of the prophecy. She tried to resist trusting him originally, though agreeing to accompany him and Grover on his quest, but they soon formed a strong bond and became friends.
On their quest, Percy, Annabeth and Grover located Zeus’ lightning bolt after an adventure-filled quest involving an encounter with Medusa, a fight with Ares, and a ride through a tunnel of love. Long story short, they recovered Zeus’ bolt and were regarded as heroes. At this point; however, Luke made an attempt to kill Percy and betrayed Camp Half Blood and in this betraying Annabeth, which wounded her greatly. Annabeth is influenced by Percy and decides to try living with her father again for the school year.
The next summer, Percy and Annabeth now friends, Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson snuck away from camp to go on an illegal quest. Thalia’s tree was dying after having been poisoned by Luke and the three were determined to find the Golden Fleece to save it and locate Grover who had also gone missing in a mysterious series of events. Annabeth is hesitant about going on a quest with Tyson initially due to the fact that she once had a traumatic encounter with a Cyclopes, but she overcomes her fear and grows to like Tyson. Again, Percy and Annabeth managed to save camp, and a chariot race was hosted which Percy and Annabeth won, and upon winning Annabeth kissed Percy on the cheek. Thalia, one of Annabeth’s best friends, is revived with the cure of her tree. Luke is still a rebel,
That December, Percy, Annabeth and Thalia get called to go on a special mission for camp to retrieve two demigods that Grover located, and get into a fight with Dr. Thorn, a manticore, and while fighting Annabeth jumped on his back and fell off a cliff with him. He successfully kidnapped her, to Percy’s great dismay. She was brought to Atlas’ realm on Mount Tam and made a decision on impulse to hold up the sky for Luke, who was obviously struggling. She held the sky for many days before Artemis saved her life by taking it away from her. Percy sneaks off illegally on a quest once again to go save her, and upon the questers’ arrival at Mount Tam, there is a major battle during which Annabeth’s father swoops in and saves the day. He and her stepmother express remorse for their former treatment of her, and her relationship with them improves a bit. Luke falls off a cliff and is presumed dead, but Annabeth doesn’t believe so. Annabeth was offered a position on the Hunters of Artemis but refused, as she did in the past. She continues to love him even though she knows that he isn’t to be trusted, much to Percy’s frustration.
The following summer Annabeth received her own quest into the Labyrinth, on which she decided to take Percy, Grover and Tyson. Annabeth received a foreboding prophecy and became very perturbed over it, but she continued on with her quest after confiding in Percy. Throughout the quest the four overcame many obstacles, becoming separated at one point. Annabeth and Percy are nearly killed in Mount St. Helens, but he forced her to flee and he blew up the volcano after she kissed him goodbye, going missing in Ogygia afterwards for two weeks. Annabeth was devastated at the thought of losing Percy and called him her best friend at his funeral, but he returned from Calypso’s Isle and Annabeth was relieved, but extremely jealous and filled with betrayal, especially after his decision to bring Rachel, his mortal friend, on their quest to guide them through the Labyrinth. Annabeth gets over this, eventually, but not without a few witty comments. The three make their way through the Labyrinth but not without encountering Luke, who had become Kronos’ loyal servant, much to Annabeth’s horror. They also have an encounter with Janus, the two-headed Greco-Roman god, who warns her of the major decisions that she will have to make. There is a battle at camp after they emerge from the Labyrinth, suitably titled “The Battle of the Labyrinth.” Camp won but was rather shaken with a few deaths, and Annabeth was increasingly concerned regarding Percy’s great prophecy.
Later that summer, around the July 4th, the camp has a game of Capture the Flag game in which Annabeth, Percy, Silena and Charlie Beckendorf fall into trap with large ants. Beckendorf is nearly killed, but the four get out of their mess in time for Silena and Annabeth to capture Percy and Charlie and keep their team from winning. Annabeth asks Percy to go with her to the fireworks, a romantic camp gathering, and he accepts.
Luke visited Annabeth before the Titan War, warning her that Kronos was going to use him like a stepping stone. He begged her to run away with him, but she refused him.
Late the next summer began the Titan War, in which Percy and Annabeth fought together. Prior to this Rachel Dare and Percy grow rather close, which bothers Annabeth, but Percy’s affection for her is unquestionable when he takes a dip in the Styx and thinks of her to tie her to the mortal world. Hermes targets Annabeth on Olympus, accusing her of not being able to save Luke, which confuses Percy. Anyway, during the Titan war Annabeth takes control as a major camp leader, guiding her fellow campers into battle, but mostly fighting at Percy’s side. She takes a poisoned dagger to the shoulder that would have killed him, though she was unaware of this at the time. He reveals his Achille’s spot to her and she is the only person who knows where it is, and Annabeth tells him of Luke’s visit to her, and of her remorse for not acting.
The battle continued and culminates with an epic battle in the Olympian’s throne room. During this battle Annabeth is injured, but essentially singlehandedly saves the world when she deciphers the true meaning of the prophecy and urges Percy to give her knife to Luke, the cursed blade given to her by him, and he uses the blade to kill himself, ending the Titan War and defeating Kronos.
Annabeth is greatly rewarded, along with Percy and their other friends, by being named the great Architect of Olympus and is put in charge of rebuilding the whole city. Percy turns down godhood to remain a mortal and have more experiences with Annabeth, along with his other friends and family. Rachel Dare becomes the virgin Oracle of Delphi and is no longer able to be with Percy, even though she wasn’t with him to begin with.
Seeing as the war ends on Percy’s sixteenth birthday, Annabeth and Tyson bake him a blue cupcake. Annabeth and Percy share this cupcake and Percy makes a pathetic attempt to confess his feelings for her, at which Annabeth laughs and kisses him. They are tossed into the lake by Clarisse, the Stolls, and some of the other snooping campers, and there they share another kiss. Annabeth decides to go to school in New York to be near Percy.
All seems well, besides the fact that Rachel spurts out a disturbing prophecy, but they don’t linger on it because there was a very minimal chance that it would happen in their lifetimes.

Unfortunately, however, the prophecy did begin just four months after the end of the Titan War. Percy was kidnapped that December, just prior to Christmas, and Annabeth became frantic, searching for Percy whenever she could. She arrived in the chariot to retrieve Jason, Piper and Leo with Butch, expecting to find Percy, but she did not. She was highly disappointed by this, screaming at the sky in frustration. Upon learning that Percy was in a Roman camp and had probably forgotten her, Annabeth was distraught but determined to find him, insisting upon traveling to the camp with Leo, Jason and Piper in the Argo II in order to see him.
After recovering his memory in the Roman camp, Percy is warned by Hera that Annabeth will cause him major issues, and she may be the subject of a new prophecy in which “Wisdom’s daughter walks alone,” and “the Mark of Athena burns through Rome” (Son of Neptune © Rick Riordan). The meaning of this has yet to be determined.
RP Sample:
It had been a long day at Camp Half Blood, and Annabeth was more than just tired, she was exhausted. She didn’t regret all of the running around she had done, it had been completely worth it, but sometimes she wished she could have a break. There had been jogging at six in the morning, breakfast, teaching archery class an hour later, co-teaching swordplay an hour after that with Percy, more exercise… all of that among other activities. Finally she got to shower and eat dinner and sit at the campfire, during which she may have fallen asleep if not for her siblings’ continuous shrill singing throughout the entire event. Eventually the event ended and the campers shuffled out of the amphitheater, Annabeth hustling her siblings out of there and into bed. After all, they’d just have to wake up the next morning and train again, and they needed to sleep despite their protests.
Annabeth changed into a pair of pajama pants and a sweatshirt, trying desperately to fall asleep but failing. She shuffled stealthily out of her cabin with her book, making her way to the beach and taking a seat in the sand, opening her book and reading by the light of the moon, breathing in the scent of the ocean. It made her feel secure and safe, and maybe that was because it was so closely related to Percy, but maybe not. After a good half hour she was at peace, and she made her way back to her cabin to go to sleep.

Why do you deserve this character, and are you responsible enough to handle a canon?
I absolutely adore Annabeth, she's probably my favorite character in the books. She reminds me of myself, in some ways, even though she's about 50 times stronger than I will ever be. :3 Her character is amazing, and that's that. I feel I'm responsible to handle playing a canon, I've been an admin on here for quite a few months, and I understand how to RP properly. I'm literate and can make descriptive posts, so I feel like I will be able to RP Annabeth well.

Again, obviously, Dahlia's a girl. Did you not notice the picture and name?! /sigh/

Dahlia is fifteen years old, to turn 16 on April 24th, 2013.
Physical Description:
Being short, Dahlia's age is questioned often. She's only about 4'11", with features that can pass as younger than she is. She is not stick thin, and she's not chubby either. You could say she's normal figured. She has cropped, brown, unmanageable, wavy hair that just brushes the tops of her shoulders and a swoop of side bangs across her forehead. She doesn't often wear makeup, and if she does, it's a minimal amount. She just doesn't like it, she thinks it's frivolous. Pale, she burns quickly in the sunlight as well as gains freckles, with a constant smattering across her cheekbones and shoulder blades. With round, doe shaped brown eyes, she would be considered cute, or maybe even pretty, but she isn't gorgeous by any means.
Personality Description:
Dahlia has an interesting personality. She can be kind to those who she trusts and caring, but she will act hostile to anyone who poses a threat to her, being a natural leader. She is defensive of her emotions and often bottles them up, feigning a poker face and putting off her emotions for a later time. She always tries to act in the best interests of herself, but more importantly the people on her side. She is loyal to those she trusts, but it can take a bit to win her over and she is rather stubborn if she really believes in something. She makes sure that people understand what she asks of them, but she won't necessarily try to force her ideas on someone. Despite her strong, confident outer behavior, she is really rather sensitive, especially when insulted. She is smart and has common sense, and this augments her leadership capabilities. Also, she is rather hyper due to her ADHD, and she can sometimes come off as extremely energetic.
God and Mortal Family:
Dahlia's mother is Demeter, goddess of agriculture and the Earth, and her father is, (what else?) a botanist. He's pretty normal, and he and Dahlia maintain a healthy relationship unlike many demigods and their parents.
Powers:
As a daughter of Demeter she has powers over the Earth and the growing process. She can:
- Grow vines out of the ground, strong enough to trip someone or wrap around their leg and make it kind of hard for them to budge. (10 times a day)
- Grow small flowers, which don't really have any affect on anyone. (45 times a day)
- Cause existing plants, such as trees, to move. For example, she could make a tree branch swing at someone's head. (25 times a day, more of less depending on the extremity of the movement.
- Make existing plants (seedlings) grow more quickly and heal withering (not dead) plants. (15 times a day)
Of course, she probably couldn't do ALL of this in one day without being extremely tired and falling asleep for about a day. xD. Each power drains her a bit, the least a small headache and as they get more extreme they make her increasingly drowsy/lightheaded, causing her to need to refuel or take a nap. If she uses her powers too much, she would probably pass out. The only powers that don't really drain her are growing flowers and healing plants, because this takes a minimal amount of energy.

Dahlia fights with a thin, almost delicate looking sword that is just over 2' long, made of celestial bronze.
Talents/Skills:
As a daughter of Demeter, she's a natural at growing anything. She can make something grow out of nearly nothing, and heal nearly dead plants. It's pretty impressive. She's a pretty talented fighter, having taken fencing in elementary and middle school, when she did attend, and she's quite smart, filled with common sense. She's good at making plans and initiating them, she's a natural leader.
History:
Dahlia had a relatively modest childhood compared to many demigods', but her story deserves to be told nonetheless. She was born in Oahu, a major Hawaiian island where her father was studying different species of flowers. She lived there until she was 11, not facing many monster attacks whatsoever due to her distance from Olympus and seclusion on the island.
The spring she turned 11, however, her father was drawn to Washington state to work on a new project, where he remains to this date. Dahlia hated Washington, with its dank climate. It was really the polar opposite of Hawaii, and she felt constricted and perturbed. Her father made the discovery that their life wouldn't be all so easy back in America when she encountered a few minor monsters.
Her life in school was rather uneventful.
Dahlia remained in Washington regardless until the fall before she turned 13, when she encountered a particularly nasty monster that caused their home to be destroyed. Her father began to search to options for demigods, and when Dahlia was claimed on her thirteenth birthday a local Searcher recognized her demigodliness and offered to guide her to camp. She accepted his offer and stays there mostly year round now, with trips a few times a year to visit her father. It is almost Dahlia's third year at camp now, and it is unbeknownst to her that she will soon be offered the opportunity to lead her own quest, something she has wanted to do for a while.

Physical Description:
Being the daughter of beauty, Maggie is naturally, well... pretty, with sun-kissed blonde hair that falls just below her shoulders, relatively pale skin, a light dusting of freckles and rather striking hazel eyes. At average height, Margaret stands at about 5'5" and she's relatively slim, lacking an athletic build.
A Venus child, Margaret does tend to wear makeup, but she doesn’t generally wear a lot of it. It is usually rather subtle, just a bit of eyeliner, mascara, a light dusting of blush and a swoop of lip gloss, and it never overpowers her features. She has a distinct style of clothing, and her old, worn combat boots are her signature wardrobe item.
Personality Description:
Maggie isn’t really a typical daughter of Venus. She doesn’t try to pick up guys, it kind of happens naturally, and if she were to be perfectly honest, she didn’t appreciate that factor of herself. She tries to put herself as far from the valley girl daughter of Venus stereotype as possible, with her combat boots, relatively short hair and interesting wardrobe that consists of military style hats, fishnet tights, denim skirts, dresses, leather jackets and the like. She’s fun loving, a social butterfly, and absolutely adores to be around her friends, those who can see through her initial façade into the real her. While she isn’t book smart, she has a lot of common sense and street smarts. She may come off as a bit thick and careless initially, but she really is not that way, as would testify most of the people who know her well. She is a bit rebellious, tending to become a bit hotheaded when it comes to something that she is passionate about, and her dyslexia is extremely bad, more so than is normal for a demigod.
God and Mortal Family:
Margaret's mother is Venus and she shares a father with her brother, Damon. Her dad's name is Patrick Becker, but their relationship is... complicated.
Powers:
Maggie has powers that are hard for her to control, which is odd for most demigods, but she has the ability to make someone feel an attraction to herself. For example, guys will feel attracted to her if she waves to them in a restaurant or talks to them in the hall at school. The attraction is almost imperceptible, though, and the romantic feeling is really ungenuine. To her, this is more of a curse than a power, and she hasn't learned to properly control it yet. Guys tend to stare at her for a moment, but the aura usually wears off after a few seconds of them meeting her. Still, it leaves her feeling uneasy and feeling as if she receives attention for the wrong reasons. This so-called “talent” also works on monsters, albeit male monsters, which is not a good thing. It is likely; however, that she will learn to control it with time and possibly channel it more directly, though this will drain her.

Weapon:
Maggie dislikes fighting, because she’s not very good at it, but when she does fight she uses a long, imperial gold dagger, one that she picked especially because its hilt is bedazzled with purple and orange rhinestones.
Talents/Skills:
Margaret is not especially talented in music or sports, as many kids are, but she is great at drawing. She’s great at simply sketching things out, making designs or plans for something. What she is lacking in book smarts she has in common sense, and this is often evident through her detailed battle plans. She is also good at designing armor and clothing, although she’s not as good at actually making these things.

Physical Description:
Damon, albeit a descendant of Vulcan, is relatively handsome due to his father's good genetics. He has the same blonde hair, pale skin, and hazel eyes as his sister, ironically since they are only half-siblings, but he lacked her freckles. He was taller, standing at 6'3", with a muscular build due to his love of sports. He isn’t beautiful, but he is rather attractive.
Personality Description:
Damon, unlike his sister, is a bit uptight and practical in his lifestyle. Where his sister is fun loving and rash, Damon is rational and careful about what he chooses to do. This doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like to have fun, or be social, because he does both, but he keeps more to himself than his sister, suppressing his emotions rather than unleashing them upon everyone. He is protective of those he loves, especially Maggie, and he is very steadfast, keeping to the decisions and promises that he makes. He and his sister maintain a very close relationship, despite their differences in personality.
God and Mortal Family:
Damon is a descendant of Vulcan, being that his mother, Amelia, had been Vulcan’s daughter. His father was a mortal, Patrick Becker, whom he shared with his sister, Maggie. The two also had another sister, Grace, who would now be 12, but that was another story...
Powers:
Damon's only a descendant of Vulcan, his grandson, so his powers are extremely limited. Regardless, Damon is pretty resistant to fire unless he stands in it for more than ten minutes, and he's very good at making a fire with natural elements such as wood and flint. This is the extent of his ability; however, and his abilities are rather minute.

Weapon:
Damon fights with an imperial gold sword, about 2 and a quarter feet in length. It’s nothing particularly fancy, even though Damon could potentially construct something great in the forges.
Talents/Skills:
Damon is naturally talented at sports, excelling at most any athletic activity that he strives to do, whether it is swordplay, football, soccer, or lacrosse. He is naturally book smart, with A’s in all of his classes, and he’s also talented at forgery, as most Vulcan descendants are.

Dual Biography:
In order to understand Damon and Margaret’s relationship, I suppose you need to understand their father, Patrick Becker, first. Here we go…
Patrick Becker was an unlucky man. He was just a measly mortal, albeit one who could see through the elusive mist, and he was easily swayed, falling in love far too quickly with all of the wrong people. In retrospect, he regrets his decisions, but it was far too late when he realized everything that had gone awry. Anyway, onto his story. When he was only 22, young and naïve, Patrick met the love of his life in college, a kindhearted, determined young woman named Amelia. She was everything to him, and there was only one complication to their love- she was a demigod, a daughter of the Roman god Vulcan. As with all demigods, Amelia was constantly chased by monsters, but this threat did not stop Patrick from following her everywhere. Within two years, with Patrick still finishing medical school, the two were married at a very downscale event in Naples, Florida. A couple months later, it was determined that Amelia had become pregnant with their first son, Damon, much to the couple’s immense surprise. During her pregnancy Patrick finished his medical schooling and began a small job at the local hospital where they had settled in Florida, and all was relatively well with the happy couple. The fates were not on their side; however, when Amelia was forced to give birth to her son prematurely, and due to complications with the birth she died only a few hours after Damon was born. Patrick was devastated, and this devastation did affect Damon’s early childhood, forcing him to become more independent than most children by even the age of two.
Throughout Patrick’s depression, he was consoled by a beautiful woman, one who he guiltily offered his heart to, and she seized it. He should have realized that this woman was a goddess, and not just a regular goddess but Venus, the Roman goddess of love, but he did not. She bore him a child quickly, seeing as being the fertility goddess had its advantages. Two months after their affair a gurgling, pink, absolutely beautiful little infant appeared at his doorstep, swaddled in a soft blanket, wailing. Patrick realized immediately what this entailed and took in his new daughter, the arrival helping to bring him back to reality. He quickly fell back into the scheme of things, determined to raise his two children properly, to be strong for them.
His previous lover visited him occasionally, checking in on the state of their daughter, Margaret, and his well-being. Sometimes, though, she looked rather different, seeming to have two different forms. Patrick took notice of this fact, but was completely oblivious to the fact that this was abnormal for the goddess. The two had a second affair two years later while she was in a different form, her Greek form, Aphrodite, and she bore Patrick another daughter, Grace. After this she did not contact Patrick often, if ever, and he was left to raise his children on his own terms, still devastated with the loss of his first and only true love, Amelia.
With three partly divine children, monsters attacked the family’s small town residence frequently, causing Patrick to move the family to a penthouse apartment building in Fort Lauderdale, away from his past and sheltered by the odor of mortals. Patrick was a successful surgeon and the family was well off… well, as well off as they could have been, lacking a mother and much structure. All three children were sent to a private school, although Margaret was forced to change schools in quite a few instances, always placed in the lowest academic program due to her severe dyslexia. Grace and Damon were both moderately intelligent, though, and managed to stay in one school. Grace and Margaret discovered their demigod-ly powers quite early, Grace able to manipulate them to her own advantages and Maggie unable to manipulate hers at all. Neither of them realized what they were, however, for a long time. Grace may never have.
The children had a modest upbringing with decent relationships, the siblings extremely close, though they tended to remain more distant from their father, who tried his best but was unsuccessful in raising his children properly due to the amount of time he spent working at the hospital and his previous emotional scarring. All three were independent in their own ways, but dependent on one another to thrive. Their cushy life was interrupted; however, when Grace, 9 at the time, disappeared while on a trip to New York City. Oblivious of the dangers that lay there, the Becker family had taken a trip to see the great city, and on their last day there, after a horrible monster attack, Grace was simply gone. Patrick and Damon, then 14, contacted local police authorities, but Grace was never to be found, assumed dead. Damon and Margaret were equally devastated and confused, demanding answers from their father. He refused them for three years, until finally Margaret received a dream message from her mother, Venus, discovering what their father had been hiding from them for over a decade… they were demigods, she and Grace full siblings, or so Maggie thought, and Damon a descendant of Vulcan. Damon and Margaret set out the next day, leaving their father after a particularly nasty verbal brawl, determined to locate this so-called Camp Jupiter. They did, although it took them a good week and a half and a good amount of money "borrowed" from their father's bank account, and they began their training there in early February of 2012.

This girl’s name is Catheryn (Pronounced CAY-THE-RINNE) Cade. Yes, her name is different, but so is she. Catheryn is often referred to by her last name, Cade, for no true reason other than she claims to like it. She secretly prefers the elegance of her true name, however.

12 years old, Catheryn was born on December 16th, 1999, which is fitting because she loves winter and everything about it.
Description:
Catheryn is very slim, but tall for her age. She’s about 5’4”, stubborn and strong as heck personality wise. She can shoot a bow and arrow pretty well, but she’s not that strong physically, strong enough to defend herself in close combat if she must. She has mid-length, very dark brown colored hair that falls in ringlets at her shoulders, and side bangs that she usually clips away from her face. Cade is pale, which she despises in the summer since she's constantly getting sunburned. She has quite a pretty face, with round blue-green eyes. She sometimes tries to use her young, innocent seeming looks against people but isn’t that good at doing so.
Catheryn has a very peculiar personality. She can be a bit stubborn when she wants to be, but then she can also be very open towards others. She’ll be nice to people she wants to be nice to but if she doesn’t like a person she’ll do anything to get on their nerves or make their lives miserable. She doesn’t always show it but she can be insecure sometimes, which causes her to try and looks deeper into a person’s soul.
God and Mortal Family:
Her mom is Psyche, though she is completely unaware of this, being unclaimed. Her father was James Cade, and she has a step-mother named Leanne, and these two had about 5 kids and counting together. Cade has never had the best relationship with her family, as she was always a bit rebellious. Her father had a difficult time raising her. Cade had made his life a living hell as a child, turning everything against him with her powers. He had always known she was a half-blood though he had no clue yet as to whom her mother was. Psyche could be very secretive at times. Her father is dead, though. He died defending her from a monster when she was 11, and she was very sensitive about it. Her stepmother remarried very quickly to a guy named Frank.
While Cade is unclaimed, she’s pretty much convinced her mother is Aphrodite, what with her ability to sense people’s feelings towards one another and love lives. She isn’t sure why she can sense other things as well, but she doesn’t think much of it.
Powers:
Catheryn can see through people and understand their past; though vaguely, their current feelings and what they desire. She’s not always accurate and sometimes judges someone based on what she thinks she sees but really isn’t there. This doesn't drain her at all, it's almost like a sixth sense for her.
Flaws:
Catheryn is very stubborn, and never wants to give in to anything or anyone, even if she knows she’s wrong. (In general, she always wants to be right.) She can have large sums of envy towards others with due cause and she doesn’t easily accept someone who wrongs her. Also, she’s not good at acting or lying. Catheryn acts cold to people at time, and though she tries to cover it up she's very wrought over her father's death.

Catheryn does not have a pet at camp.

Catheryn fights with a celestial bronze bow and arrow, nothing fancy.
Talents:
Catheryn knows how to play the piano but doesn’t utilize this talent very often, at least in front of people. She loves to play, secretly, and she feels it's therapeutic. She also sings, a talent introduced to her by her father. She doesn't reveal this to people often either. Cade is also really good with little kids, especially her sister Emma, though she was never really sure why.
Biography:
Catheryn, as mentioned above, was born to James Cade, who really didn’t welcome her presence at first. She really just appeared at his doorstep, what kind of normal person wouldn’t be freaked out if a random baby appeared at their door? Upon realizing she had been a gift from his very secretive lover, he took her in with open arms. Of course, he hadn’t realized what he was getting himself into.
Cade was a nightmare from the time she learned to speak, what with her ability to sense what he was feeling. She would throw fits as a toddler when he wanted her to leave him alone, or as a pre-teen she was easily able to persuade him to spend time with her instead of her step-mother and half-siblings because she knew he wanted to. Her father started dating her step-mother when she was about 6. Her step-mother… let’s just say she despised the woman. She quickly saw through her warm, welcoming charade and recognized the hatred she had for her.
Once the woman got married to her father and decided to have KIDS with him (Which wasn’t Catheryn’s choice. If it was, that shoe-scum would never be allowed to breed.) Catheryn tried to make Leanne’s (her stepmother) life as horrible as possible. Of course, she succeeded, yet her father continued to have children with her. She must have had… what, 5 siblings by now? The scary thing was; she was actually close with her sister Emma, who was 5 now. Although she misses her sorely, she would never go back to that household to live if her life depended on it.
On Halloween of 2011, the year before she arrived at camp, her father was killed defending her from a hell hound while the two were on their way home from the supermarket. Cade was and still is distraught over her loss, and though she tries to hide it she finds it difficult at times.
Catheryn ran away from home a few weeks ago, fed up with living with her stepmother and her brand-spanking-new husband. She headed to New York just for the heck of it, though she had a feeling that the camp her father had once told her about was there.
As of current, she is just arriving at camp, and she is happy to find a home there as opposed to her house in Minnesota. She harbors animosity towards birth mother for never claiming her, but she doesn't say a word about it.

Description:
Riley, as a teenager, is pretty handsome. He has medium brown hair that sort of flips up in the front. It’s relatively short. Then he has interesting brown eyes and naturally pink lips. He’s pretty tall, just reaching six feet, and he's muscular, but not to too great of an extreme. His skin isn’t tan, but it’s not a pasty white color like some. He wears a lot of plain clothes: jeans and T-shirts, but he never looks sloppy.
As an old man, which will be explained later, well… he looks the same but sort of shriveled up and hunched over.
Riley has a pretty laid back personality. He’s quite impulsive, and he’ll do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He doesn’t always listen to people around him, but that’s what can make him fun sometimes. He’ll do things on a whim. He’s pretty magnetic, and he likes people a lot. He’s open, and he isn’t too quick to judge a person. He’s attractive, and he’s not too insecure; however he would do anything to cover up the fact that he turns old. He hates when someone sees him turn. A lot.
God and Mortal Family:
Riley was raised by his mother, Sophie who is married to a man named Harold. Harold has always been suspicious of Riley, and sometimes mentioned his oddness. Riley usually just passed his “gifts” from his real father off as a disorder. On the godly side, Riley’s a son of Geras, the god of old age.
Powers:
Well, Riley wouldn’t really consider this a useful power, but whenever he touches water he turns into an old man. He can drink water, but if enough of it gets in direct contact with his skin he’ll quickly transform. Once dry; however, he’ll shift back in a matter of five minutes.
Flaws:
Riley is stopped at nothing. He’s overly impulsive, and he’ll do what he wants no matter what someone says or warns him. You could say he’s thickheaded. He is insecure when it comes to his “power,” so to speak, and it sometimes keeps him from growing too close with people. Also, he’s terrible at shooting a bow and arrow.
Pets:
Riley has a German shepherd dog named… well… Dog. Riley liked to give his possessions literal names, with the occasional absurdity like the name Man, for his sword. Dog tags around Riley a lot, and he’s quick to alert him when it’s going to rain or if there’s water nearby. He’s sort of like a seeing eye dog.
Weapons:
Riley mostly fights with his sword that he calls Man. It’s celestial bronze, and a pretty average, boring sword.
Talents/Skills:
Riley plays bass, but can’t really sing. He’s also a good reader which is strange for a dyslexic kid of his generation.
Biography:
Riley gave his mother a shock when he was born. To her surprise she had given birth to… an old man? He came out a wailing infant, but as soon as the nurse went to wash him… poof: a little naked old man plopped in the washbasin. What a sight to see. At first she thought there was something wrong with her son, but then she remembered… his father was the god of old age. The nurse had a heart attack right then and there, dead on the floor, but his mother quickly wiped him off and he was soon a crying infant again. Strange, but true.
Anyhow, he had a relatively normal life, but he was constantly attempting to hide his “gift” from everyone. He had to avoid gym swim tests, pool parties at friend’s homes... sometimes even school if it was too rainy. It almost depressed him, but hey, what could he do?
Once he turned nine he learned not to live his life in a bubble, when his mom got married. He started to rebel, going against her rules and hanging out with everyone and anyone in his class. He soon had tons of friends and the time of his life. Once he turned 15 he realized that life as a demigod would force him to go to camp, so he left his mother and her husband in North Carolina easily to form a new life.
Riley’s been in camp for about a year now. He’s used to it, but he keeps his so-called powers a secret from most people. His life is a little bizarre; however, because his body in it's old form seems to age with him. He is sometimes concerned that he'll eventually grow too old in that form and die altogether upon his transition, but he doesn't think this is likely.

Leah is a slender girl, less than 100 pounds in weight but made of muscle. She's about 5'2, olive skin with long wavy dark brown hair that falls to her upper back and almond shaped dark brown eyes.
God and mortal family:
Leah's godly father is Aeolus; the Greek ruler of the winds, and her mother, Audrey, is a CEO of a business in New York. Her mother is married to a man named Mason and they have no children together.
Powers**:
Leah has ways that she can manipulate the air to her advantage. First, she can create wind gusts of up to fifty miles an hour in order to rattle someone she's opposing or just do whatever. These wind gusts are relatively small and would only affect people within a 30 foot radius of where she stands. She gets most tired at 50 miles an hour and she can't keep the wind gust up for long, but the weaker the gust is the longer she can hold out. She can create these gusts 6 times a day, at least an hour apart.
Secondly, Leah can use wind to almost make herself fly. She can manipulate the wind so that it will sweep her off the feet and she can balance, bringing her up where she wishes to go. Depending on the type of weather it is either easier or harder for her to maintain her balance. For example, if it is windy she can easily catch hold of the wind for a period of time up to two hours before she gets tired; however if there is little wind or she is flying against the wind, it is very difficult for her and she can't stay aloft for very long at all. She doesn't have a limit to how many times she can do this per day, but she will get overly tired after 3 or so hours, usually before then and again depending on the conditions, and be forced to stop and rest.
Flaws:
Leah doesn't handle a lot of stress well. Her mother constantly pressured her to be the best she could be when she was in school, and the pressure caused her to suffer from anxiety attacks. Leah is also fully deaf in from an accident when she four, and this definitely changes her perspective on everything and can sometimes affect her negatively in a battle. Since she was so young when she became deaf, she's learned to read lips extremely well. She received a Cochlear implant; however it only really enabled her to hear vague sounds. Her voice doesn't indicate that she is deaf and it's almost hard to tell. Also, Leah is extremely stubborn, meaning that she tries to do everything her way.

Leah doesn't really have a particular weapon that she fights with. She uses whatever she has available to her, whether it's a sword, dagger, spear or bow and arrow. She's decent with them all and doesn't generally prefer one over the other.

Leah is very intelligent, seeing as her mother forced her to study for most of her life. She's pretty book smart. Also, she's very good at lip reading, seeing as she's been deaf for most of her life. She fights well, having done sports for agility and strength when she was young.
Biography*:
Leah was born to her mother, Audrey, as a complete surprise. Her mother had been married to Leah's stepfather, Mason, and she didn't even know she was pregnant with Aeolus' daughter. She compensated and told Mason that the child was his, and though she was happy to have a daughter from her mysterious lover she was admittedly a little annoyed about suddenly having a child to care for. Audrey is a woman of plan, and when things don't go her way she gets very annoyed about it. Audrey was forced to make do with the child, and she was raised as the mortal daughter of Mason Sparks.
Leah began developing her powers at a young age, starting when she was two. Her mother did her best with hiding it and soon trained the child to never utilize her abilities. In fear, Leah obeyed, but would sneak out as she got older to test what she was capable of. She loved the air, and her mother, try as she may, couldn't keep her away from it. When Leah turned four, she was tracked by a monster. It planted a bomb in her house, and while her parents were away and she was left with a baby sitter, it went off very close to her. Using her abilities with wind, she managed to scramble out of the way and manipulate the fire away from herself, but before she had gotten in a far distance from an explosion the change in pressure had deafened her. She didn't have too many problems with monsters thereafter, but her mother was constantly on edge after that and sent her off to boarding school.
In her school years, Leah was under constant pressure from her mother to do well. Being naturally smart, this was usually easy for Leah while she was away. She went to boarding school for a year and a half before returning to live in New York with her family. Her mother was constantly on top of her and she became paranoid, undergoing so much stress that she went through anxiety attacks. She hid them from her mother and managed to get help, helping herself without her mother's knowledge.
This worsened over a few years, and by the time she turned 15 she'd had enough. She tested herself genetically to find that she wasn't Mason's daughter, and outed herself to his face. She rebelled against her mother and ran away, doing research and finding camp in a fluke a few days later, confident and strong.
 Alden and Anastasia Finn-Persephone- Spoiler:

Their names are Alden and Anastasia Finn, though Anastasia is often called Stasia only.

Alden is a boy, Stasia is a girl, in case you could not tell.
Age:
Both of the twins are 7, though Alden is the older of the two by an hour, which is hard to believe since Anastasia does look a bit older than him.
Descriptions:
Both Anastasia and Alden are very thin and obviously short as they are so young. Stasia is a little taller than her brother, and she looks a bit older physically. She has a sort of angelic, interesting look with long, pin straight brown hair and round light green eyes. Alden has a more childish look with short, dirty blonde hair with brown eyes. Both are relatively pale skinned.
God and mortal parent:
Obviously both of the two have the same godly parent, and that parent happens to be Persephone. They grew up with their father, Charles, but he died recently and left them to fend for themselves to get to camp.
Powers**:
Although the two are twins, they both have very very different powers.
Alden, on one hand, can grow flowers. He can grow many flowers a day, a dozen an hour. These flowers could obviously not bombard anyone in attack and such as he can only create a dozen at a time over the hour time period. Once the hour is up, if his dozen are not up they simply get renewed, he cannot summon extra flowers at any one time. Summoning flowers really does not take much energy for him.
Anastasia, on the other hand, inherited a different power from her mother. Anastasia can see people who have died, and converse with them. Seeing the dead people takes no effort, and she has been seeing them since she's a very young child. She cannot; however, speak to them unless they choose to speak with her. Speaking with them does consume some of her energy and if she talks with one who is dead for over 45 minutes she will get very lightheaded and possibly pass out.
Flaws***:
Alden can be jealous of his sister, as she got the "cool" power and he can only summon flowers. This can make him act rashly at times and not think straight. He is also quite sensitive, and takes people very seriously. He is still bothered by the disappearance of his father. He is pretty gullible, and can be lured into things easily.
Stasia is quite different from her brother. Though more mature, Stasia can be have too much pride and not want to give in to what other people tell her to. She knows of her father's true fate, death, though she does not want to admit it to her brother. She fears death secretly due to some of the things she sees and people she can talk to. She is very self-conscious, and like her brother can be sensitive about what people say to her.

Alden fights with a long, Stygian iron sword with a blue hilt. He isn't the greatest swordsman at seven but he does what he can.
Anastasia can fight with both a dagger and bow and arrow (celestial bronze of course), though she prefers her dagger. She is pretty good with her attacks for a child forced to fend for herself.
Talents/Skills: Alden is pretty good at games. A very random talent but he can strategize well, if his opponent doesn't draw him into a trap. Stasia is better at sports, especially tennis and track. Alden is also good at recognizing different types of flowers and is more book smart, while Stasia has good common sense.

Alden walks into the room, along with his sister Anastasia. He tugs at her arm, trying to ask her about something but she's somewhere far off. Things just weren't the same with her since their dad disappeared.
Anaastasia stares into space, well, it appears that is what she is doing. What she's really doing is gaping at their dead father. He refuses to converse with her, so they really just stand their awkwardly. Her small fingers clench themselves into a fist. "Stasia!" shouts Alden, tugging on her arm harder this time. She swats at him.
Biography*:
Alden and Anastasia were born to their very proud father, Charles Finn by Persephone. From the time of their birth he supported them in most ways, though he did take the time to teach them the important morals he had learned as a child. Their father was an author/journalist, and didn't make a ton of money but he liked to allow his children to do whatever kind of activity they were interested in doing. He quickly recognized the kid's powers from a young age but never actually told them they were children of Persephone, so, they are not aware of this yet. They are just arriving at camp now, after the death of their father that left them on their way to camp. They managed to travel as far as eastern Long Island from Connecticut, with some help along the way of course. Alden is not informed of his father's death as Stasia is, and Stasia can't bring herself to tell him. Though they are both the same age they differ greatly maturity-wise.

Due to his Irish heritage, Matthew is naturally pale, his face lightly smattered in freckles. He’s skinny, not particularly athletic or muscular, more gawky than suave, though maybe it’s because of his age. He hasn’t yet grown into himself yet, standing at 6'4". His hair is a dark brown color with the slightest hint of red among it, and he keeps it well-groomed, though it falls in his face a little when he lets it get too long. He had hazel eyes, though they are often covered up by his glasses, which are pretty generic, though he’d experimented with hipster frames a few times as a joke. He dresses normally, not wearing anything too fancy unless he has a good reason too. He never looks sloppy, but he doesn’t really dress up.
God and Mortal Family:
Matt’s father is Caerus, personification of luck, and his mother is Siobhan Maguire.
Personality:
Matthew has a great personality. He can be kind and compassionate, and he is hard-working and loves to make achievements. He is extremely devoted to camp, his home away from home, and loves life in general. He’s a little bit awkward, having not yet grown into his size, but it makes him all the more endearing.
Flaw-wise, Matthew can sometimes be forcibly overly optimistic, being that he is extremely determined. Once he sets his goals, he likes to keep them, and he has set morals and values that he doesn’t like to break. It can frustrate him when fate is not in his fortune, as does everyone, but it will affect his self-esteem more than many. He is also terrified of snakes, a random, irrational fear of his. Occasionally he can be a little spoiled, due to the fact that he was raised in such an environment that he was never really deprived of any physical property that he may have needed. He remains affected by his mother’s neglect of him, and he can have a difficult time believing that someone loves him. You might say that he has trust issues, but it’s different than that. His mother dragged him down as a child, and he harbors issues with his self-esteem because of it.
Powers:
Being a son of the luck god, Matthew can affect someone’s luck a few times daily. He can enact this luck on others, causing something fortunate or unfortunate to happen to them or just giving them general luck for things to go their way, lasting up to 12 hours. For example, he can make someone find money on the ground or he can make someone run into a friend, or he can cause a pothole to appear so someone would trip. His acts of luck drain him quite a bit, and he can’t affect extremely major things like saving someone who is dying. He cannot affect the luck of himself; however, and sometimes his luck power is faulty. He can affect people’s luck up to 15 times a day, though this limit can become smaller is his acts are more powerful.

History:
Matthew James Maguire was born to his mother on September 2nd, 1996, in Malibu, California, where he was generally born and raised. His mother, Siobhan, was an executive for a huge music production company in LA, and Matt grew up in luxury: penthouse apartments, sprawling summer homes, private beach clubs, horseback riding lessons, top-notch schooling.
One might think his life was made in the shade, which it kind of was, but it wasn’t at the same time. His mother was nearly always absent on business, leaving Matthew to be raised by whomever was in charge at the time. Maybe it was one of her short-lived husbands, a maid, a butler, nannies that came and went with the seasons like styles of clothing… he was always with someone, but barely ever his mother.
Matthew saw his mother on holidays and her days off from work, and sometimes they would take a short vacation, to Paris and the like, but he and she never really clicked, and he visits were always short lived. Sometimes he even wondered if she forgot he existed, like the one year she’d failed to even acknowledge his birthday. When Matt was younger, he adored his mother, looking up to her from the time he was old enough to recognize who she was.
He lived for his visits with her then, but as he grew older and older he began to become increasingly frustrated at her absence. Her concern for him lessened with time, and soon enough whenever they would meet, it was more of a ridicule fest. She would tell him that he needed to dress nicer, be here on time, get better grades, read more… everything but what he wanted to hear: that she loved him. He tried to rebel, to get her to notice him, but that only ended more disastrously than when he cooperated with her. Eventually he was claimed at thirteen and she was forced to recognize him, telling him of camp and instructing one of her employees to deposit him there. Now he is bitterer regarding his mother, though he tries to visit her from time to time in hopes that maybe she has changed. He has been at camp for nearly 3 years now.

RP Example*:In the dead of the night, I picked up my bag and left my cot looking untouched. I opened the window to feel the crisp autumn breeze blow throw the dusty sleeping quarters. I jumped out, as we were on the first floor, and ran off into the woods. I realized it was unsafe, but I had to get out of these orphanages. I ran into the woods, leaving behind yet another puzzle piece of my past.
Biography*: Zahra was born somewhere in Florida. When she was born, her mother was killed by some unknown force. It is still to this day unknown as to who she was. Zahra somehow ended up in a cardboard box on the floor of her first orphanage, and her story starts from there. In her childhood, she traveled for orphanage to orphange, managing to escape each and every one. The only thing that kept her going was the money given to her from her paintings.
