Ember Doyle

Ember believes herself to be a girl, and she is one.

Age:
Ember is quite young, only 13 years of age.

Description:
Ember is very petite, only 4'10" with platinum blonde hair that falls just below her shoulder blades and piercing dark brown eyes in the middle of her pale face. Her features are almost angelic, and her looks are deceiving.

God and mortal parent:
Ember's daddy is Hades and she could care less about any motherly figure.

Powers**:
Ember has powers that are rather unusual... seeing as her father is the god of death.

First off, Ember can sense the dead loved ones of a person. This doesn't really drain her much, and is rather simple.

Secondly, Ember can actually shift into the body of a dead person and impersonate them. It is a quite flawless shift, wherein Ember can take on the voice and even mannerisms of the person she is impersonating. The person will appear at their greatest point in life, rather than the state in which they had died. She can just barely touch their mind so that she knows the major happenings of their lives; however she cannot usually recall minute details and information on a person's life. The power drains her; however being a rather powerful Big Three demigod she can pull off a morph for up to four hours at a time before passing out, depending on her adrenaline and nervousness. Ember must fulfill her own needs during a shift; however, like going to the restroom or sleeping. For example, if Ember is tired when she shifts, she will still be tired when she is in another's body, or she will become progressively tired while she is shifted.

Also, it takes a long time for Ember to shift... close to 5 minutes, meaning that Ember cannot randomly shift in battle to fool someone.

Flaws:
Ember is extremely two-faced and has severe anger issues, with un-diagnosed bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She will pretend to be sweet, innocent and vulnerable, and then she will turn on someone and her facade will melt very quickly. She is vengeful, and will hold grudges against a person for a very long time.

Ember is secretly afraid of commitment, and she doesn't trust anyone.

Weapon:
Ember fights with a long sword, almost similar to those used in fencing. It is Celestial Bronze but specially made to appear icy and white, with blue crystals encrusted in its hilt.

Talents/Skills:
Ember is clever, good at deceiving others, obviously. She's also good with a sword, sometimes almost demonic and ceaseless in battle.

Biography*:
Ember had a rough life from its beginning. Her mother was a fourteen-year-old girl who never intended to have her. She didn't know how to treat a child, and she abused Ember whenever Ember committed a wrong. Ember was taken into custody of the United States when she was nearly four and never saw her mother again, but her time spent with her birth mother left her with permanent scars- both the emotional and physical type.

After having been tossed into the foster care system of Alabama, the state in which she was born, Ember lived in the residences of many different foster parents. She rebelled against each and every one of them, closed off and angry at the world. She would lash out at the children who bothered her, and within a few days- even hours, she would be thrown back to the government.

Ember eventually spent a year in juvenile detention when she was six, and by the time she had turned seven she had discovered a new way to gain attention from others- her looks. She acted innocent, like an angel down from heaven. She would bat her eyelashes and blame her faults on someone else, and she would get anything she wished. With this technique, Ember managed to stay in foster homes longer... months, even years, before anyone discovered her violent nature.

What Ember had been hiding from others were the freaky voices in her heads and things she had seen that no one else seemed to notice. She also discovered that she could impersonate the dead around the age of 10.

Ember continued to be tossed from foster home to foster facility for the next few years, and eventually she landed in one on Long Island when she had turned 12. From here she ran away, discovering Camp Half Blood from a satyr who had found her. While en route she turned 13 and was claimed by Hades, much to the satyr's interest, and she arrived at camp just a few days afterwards on December 27th, 2011.
