"Hmmm." I say. Then I look at the ground emotionless. When I tell people (only few) about my past, I really don't look them in the eyes. "Well, I was abanonded at birth, forced to rob banks. Taught it was good to rob banks. Then refused, abused, forced to live in a basement by my 'dad' and barely saw any sunlight. Someone I guess broke in or something, 'dad' was gone. I am here." Yup, that pretty much sums that up.

"Your life makes mine sound like a cry for attention."Kai said truthfully because he honestly couldn't imagine what she must of wen through with her 'dad'. He got up and moved closer feeling the chil that she naturally gave off much like his own heat.

Kai had some.. Heat? Was it coming off of him, that was one thing I didn't get much. Heat. It was go warm and fuzzy feeling. While I, being cold. Felt dark and scary. "Your's seems bad as well, I would have hated to see one of my... parents shot."

Kai felt the same pain inside once agin from hearing the word shot. He felt that it was his fault that his other was dead, that somehow it was him who had really killed his mother not the murderers he had burned away. However his face didn't register this pain and instead of saying anything a single tear slowly fell from his face. He couldn't take it that his mom was dead and that tear was all that the outer part of his body could show for it.

I kind of looked away once again, after a tear fell. Yeah, I felt bad. But- my emotions didn't show much. I was an emotionless, depressed, teen. Who had a rough life, whatever. Screw it. At least I wasn't- I didn't even want the the thought to flutter in my head. Tony was good, cept for- locking me up. "Sorry." I say.

"It's ok. I guess I just feel kinda responsible for my mom's murder."Kai said which only made it sound that much more depressing because of his mellow voice. He took a bit of a mental note of how much their natural body heat acted like a screwed up cold and warm front.

I felt like a ghost was sitting on my lap, it was so, cold and hot in the area. "Your shouldn't blame yourself for that."

"I know."Kai said. He got the feeling that something more then just to people that were so different, yet so much alike happened to run into each other. He found Serenity quite attractive and felt like it was fate that he had run into her.

I tilted my head, staring at him for an awkward second. It was odd, I felt like.. I had feelings for him. We just met though. "It wasn't your fault."

"That's where i feeli the need to blame myself. If I'm going to set fire to an entire forest. Then why couldn't I do it to save her."Kai said even though he already knew the answer. And the answer was the cold fact that he didn't find that he had these powers until after he met Camden and the other Elementals.

What else was there to say? I mean, no. I didn't watch any of my parents die. I on the other hand was a prisoner with luxuries. So, we both had a hell of a life. Of course, because no Demi god can have a normal life inless you're really quite minor.

"I'm not sure how you spell it. But he's Pyriphlegethon."Kai said like his father was the worst man alive. Which wasn't that fair because he had never met the guy. But Whatever.

My eyes widend a bit. But- Still I was emotionless. "That sounds very confusing." I reply. I start to look around a bit. "So- What's wrong with your dad..?"

"Nothing I guess. I think it's mostly my voice that makes my dad sound bad."Kai said shrugging. He could of said his dad was an a**hole for not saving mom but he remebered that little tidnit about how gods can't interfere directly in their children's life.

Kai looked at her with a knowing expression. Like he could understand her as well as she understood him. It was weried, but Kai didn't mind either. He mentally shrugged off the thought and keep looking at her almost snowy eyes. His eyes as red as a fire.

I noticed how oddly red his eyes were. Yeah, some kids at the camp have red eyes. But his were different somehow. I don't really know how to explain it, but they were just... diffferent. Yeah, different. But Pretty, and filled with... Fire.

"Hmm. I'm pretty bored."Kai said after minutes of staring into her eyes. He slowly got up and dusted himself. He then got ready to leave.

"Where are you going?" I ask. Picking myself up off the ground, and wiping the dust off the back of my jeans.

Kai moved closer and kissed her on the lips without warning. The tingle from his warmth and her cold only made the sensation only that much better. After a minute or two he pulled back and stared emotionless;y into her eyes and said,"Nowhere if you dont want me to go."

I stared at him, it was probably the most emotion I think I've had on my face since I was younger. I blinked a couple times, I was really surprised. That just felt... amazing. The hot and coldness of it mixed, was just.. amazing. Then I rushed in and I kissed him this time.
