I walked into the dark forest, Terron on my shoulder. I drew my sword, ready to test myself against real monsters, not lifeless dummies.

Benji, don't take Ra so hard. Even he has limited resources.

"Limited resources?"I muttered."Ha! He has all the power in the world. He could build a few more measly cabins."

I slashed at a sapling, cutting it in half. Terron shook his head, muttering, You don't understand, Benji. What you might do in the future will greatly affect the gods.

"So what if I care!"I roared. Startled, Terron flew off my shoulder and onto a tree."They don't care about the real important gods! We can live without the Nile! We can live without the mummification and dead! We can live without stupid writing!"

Benji--

"Just shut up!"I roared, and ran into the forest out of anger. Terron knew everything there was to know about me. Why didn't he understand?

I stopped running, panting heavily.Terron, though, just glided over my head and perched on a large branch. I looked up, glaring at him. "Would it kill you to stop showing off?"

He shrugged.

I ran into the forest, nearly reduced to tears. I hated having the prophecy. I hated myself for being there at that moment.
