Bitter lies
A true friend
Or a true spy?

Wallow in guilt
Cry out the tears
Fake a smile
Or ignore the jeers?

Pretend im okay
Say angry words
Is it for the best?
Or will it hurt more?

Suffering from pain
In body and mind
One more word and Ill break
The hurt they said left behind

Trying to act mean
Scare them away
So weak and fragile
Hiding day to day

Words like bees
Stinging again and again
Take a knife
Maybe then it will end

So alone
So scared
So little
No one cared

So down
In herself
She goes
