Serious injuries

Daz didn't really mind how long it took, at this point. He wasn't thinking about any of that. He was just focusing on the kissing, and the feeling of Zero's hands on his back, removing his shirt. Obviously, once she got to a certain point, he had to lift his arms so that she coukd get it all the way off. Once that was done with, he put one of his hands on Zero's cheek and wrapped the other one around herz pulling the two of them together.

Now that they were no longer occupied with shirt removal, Zero's hands needed something else to keep them busy. One of them rested at the nape of Daz's neck, fingers playing with the short hair there. The other one just sort of... wandered. She wasn't exactly focusing on where it was, since the kissing was taking up most of her attention.

Daz found his arm trailing down Zero's back before he really knew why, and then the thought that she was wearing pants occurred to him. That just would not work... and that's when he first started to get nervous. What if he messed something up? He had just managed to trip and fall on his way over to Zero from the window, hiw could he possibly oull this off flawlessly? But at the same time, he didn't want to just stop. He loved the feeling of his chest pressed up against Zero's. The kissing, the hands wandering. So he moved his hand down to Zero's pants and started to unbutton them, a task he realized was kuch easier when you were the one wearing the pants.

Zero pulled out of the kiss a little to take a breath. It was difficult to breathe properly while making out with someone, after all. Instead of diving straight back into said makeout, though, she moved slightly downward, planting small kisses along Daz's jawline and down to his neck. She felt him messing with the front of her pants, and wondered if he'd manage to get the button undone. She'd have to undo his soon enough, how difficult was it? She still felt nervous, and didn't want to mess anything up too badly...

Daz got Zero's pants undone right as she stopped kissing his face and started moving down his jaw and to his neck. He felt himself getting goosebumps all over. He unzipped her pants, and moved his hands around to her back as he started to push them down. He took his time with this letting his hand roll over her body. He had to sit up a bit to get them all the way off, and then he just kind of casually deposited them on the floor. Oh Gods, then he was looking at Zero, clothes removed, and he couldn't help but say, "Gods, you're beautiful, Zero." He felt completely corny afterwards, and was blushing, but it didn't shaje the truth of it.

Today was just non-stop blushing, wasn't it? "You're not such a bad looker yourself," she muttered, reaching up and placing a hand on his chest, then letting her fingers trail along his body as she her hand moved lower. At this point, it became unavoidable that this train of posts must experience a time skip of sorts, for a (perhaps) significant amount of time. How much time passed, though? It could be a couple of minutes or an hour or two, who knew? The author certainly didn't.

After all those things, Daz was laying next to Zero, still panting a bit. He had partially reclothed, but hadnt put a shirt on yet. He didn't have anything to say that would sound intelligent, and would likely not get past one or two sylablles. He couldn't lut this into words, but he knew he wanted to do it again. Maybe not now... but soon, hopefully. He wrapped an arm around Zero and pulked her close up next to him.

At this point, Zero was reclothed, sans shirt (it was ripped and bloody, she didn't want to touch the thing). Her mind didn't seem to quite be... functioning right. It took her a good five seconds to respond to Daz pulling her close. She rested her head against him and smiled. That had been a nice -- no, great [insert amount of time here]. On her end, at least. She couldn't discern whether the experience had been as wonderful for Daz, and it would be mildly embarrassing to ask.

Daz was finding trouble putting his thoughts to words, so he just laid there with Zero, smiling like an idiot. Maybe he was. It didn't really matter. He was an idiot who'd just done it with an awesome, beautiful girl... who was great at... doing it. Of course, he didn't know how to approach that subject, so he didn't. He looked down at Zero and realized she still didn't have a shirt. Well, he couldn't ave people ogling at her, could he? Maybe once he could talk he'd offer her his shirt, but for now cuddling was nice.

Being early in the morning, it was fairly cold out, and the infirmary was a small enough building that it didn't warrant its own heating system. So it was a little cold inside, too. And Daz was nice and warm, which made the cute snuggling all the better. Zero hummed contentedly. She was, for once, at relative peace with the world. The only things wrong were the dull, nagging pains in her head and stomach.

Daz leaned down and kissed the top of Zero's head softly. She seemed happy, and that was good. Maybe he wasn't a failure after all. Maybe this would put the whole revenge business out of her mind for a while, too. She needed to regain her strength before plowing after Jane again. Daz needed to make more arrows, and Zero needed more projectiles. Gah, why was he thinking about this? Daz focused on Zero's body pressed up against him, and the other thoughts got slurred and unimportant.

Zero smiled. It was nice to just lay here in the dark, without worrying too much about hunting and chasing and traps and all of that nasty stuff. It didn't matter in this peaceful moment. She could have fallen asleep easily if she hadn't have been unconscious not so long ago. In any case, she closed her eyes, enjoying the simple comfort of being close to someone she loved.

Daz ran a hand thriugh Zero's hair, a little proud to say that it was messed uo by him. He tucked a strand of hair behindher ear and leaned close, and whispered, "I love you, Zero. You are absolutely incredible at..." he paused, and just said, "everything." He didn't trust himself to try and say sex, or anything like it, without blushing like a stop light. Hopefully Zero woukd infer. If not, he coukd force hinself to say it.

That little pause successfully implied enough that it made Zero flush again. Aghhh, she was getting fed up with this tendency for the blood to rush to her face at the mere mention of... y'know, stuff. She turned her face towards the bed to hide how red she'd turned, and a muffled "I love you, too," could be heard.

Daz chuckled and moved her arms around Zero down towards her hips, pulling her up close to him again. Obviously she was embarassed, and it was unbelievably adroable. "Don't try to hide your face from me, Zero. I know you were blushing." He teased.

Zero grumbled a protest and pulled the linen blanket that had been bunched up off to the side over her head. Not fair. Teasing her like that was not fair, especially while she already felt embarrassed. Of course, she had an idea about how to level the playing field in that respect. She excelled at making things fair. She began to plan out what she was going to say, picking out words that would be most likely to fluster Daz.

Daz smiled and thought about tickling her sides, but makinf her laugh too hard would probably hurt her sides. He whispered, "Show my that cute face, Zero. You're absolutely adorabke when you blush, and you know it. You just think I'll be overwhelmed, but It's okay. I can stand how pretty you are, I promise." Of course, none of this was false to Daz. But he knew it would nake Zero embarassed, though.

Zero responded by turning to look Daz straight in the eye. She was still blushing, but it was time for her most excellent comeback now. She craned her neck a bit so she could whisper in Daz's ear, and said something very very naughty that would no doubt cause some serious blushing.

Daz's eyes widened, and he gulped. His cheeks burned and he had to blink a few times before even being able to say anything. Then he realized he had nothing to say. Zero was a born temptress, and she had played him well. The part thst shiwed her success rhe misr was that he didn't even care. He welcomed the sensation. He pulled Zero close to him again, their chests pressing up against her, and he said, with an awkward smile. "Tell me more."

Oh, shit. She hadn't prepared further nefarious things to say. She bought herself a little time by lightly kissing Daz's neck again, thinking quickly. Perhaps talking about particular things she had enjoyed from, uh, previous activities would work. Yes, that sounded sufficient. She felt mildly silly saying these things -- she was saying them now -- but at the same time, it felt sort of... nice, in a very dirty way.

Well, she had called his bluff. He thought that would make her stoo, but it just seemed to encourage her... which encouraged him. He keot saying things like, "You liked that? That was nothing. Just wsit until..." and pretty soon he wanted to... well, do it again. He looked Zero in the eyes and out a finger on her mouth, shushing her. "People are going to stsrt showing uo here soon, and... we can't really be..." he gestured vaguely to the distance between them and Zero exposed chest. Along those lines, he took off his shirt and offered it to her.

Zero hadn't noticed the sunlight leaking through the blind-covered windows. It was well past sunrise now, and Daz was right -- people would be showing up any moment. Smiling and pulling away from the finger on her lips, she sat up a bit and took his shirt and put it on. It was much too big for her, which amused Zero, but it was better than nothing. And it came with the added bonus of shirtless Daz, which wasn't a bad thing at all. As long as no one stared at him too much. Then there would be some problems.

Daz couldn't help but smile at how ridiculous his shirt looked on Zero's small frame. She probably could have worn it as a dressz it hung so low. Which gave him an idea... that he could remember until later. He sat up, then got up and stretched a bit. His musfles were a kittle sore fron the yoga added to the... morning activities. But that didn't mean he was too sore to accomplish certain tasks. Whether it be good fortune or not, that was what was occuoying mist of his brain at the moment. He heloed Zero out of bed and pulked her in for a quick kiss.

Zero had to be a little bit careful getting off the bed. A motion like twisting her torso too far sent twinges of pain through her. Once she was up, though, Daz kissed her, and she kissed back. It wasn't a very long kiss, but it was sweet. "Now, let's get out of here," she said once said smooch had ended, and took a few short steps to the door and unlocked it. Hopefully there wouldn't be a ton of injured campers who were waiting to get inside.

Daz opened a window. That was sufficient. He could have opened them all, but that would have taken a while. Zero, of course, opened the door before he could do it for her. Typical. He smiled, because he really didn't care, but he did like doing nice things for her. He was glad that there weren't any campers waiting right outside of the door, because it made it so that they didn't have to explain themselves. Once they were out of the infirmary, Daz asked, "Where to now?"
