Tribe 713.

I've been working on this for a while, and i'll post the next chapter in do time. Enjoy.


Chapter 1

Maria Anderson was a regular town girl. Well, that’s what she thought. She wasn’t normal.
But she didn’t know. Yet. “Maria! Time for breakfast!” Marias’ mother called. Maria was a
14 year old girl with curly black hair, blue eyes, an older brother named Thomas, and a
chameleon named Lou. But he had died the previous year. Thomas was 19 and not in college.
He spent his days sleeping or watching TV. Maria climbed downstairs and poked Thomas
who was rummaging through the fridge. He looked up lazily and said, “Do you mind?” Maria
pushed him aside and he tackled her. They started wrestling and Marias mom. Amy was
sipping coffee. “I’ll start parenting after I finish my coffee.” She said. Thomas and Maria
wrestled until their stomachs growled. Maria got up and grabbed a box of cereal. She ate
than walked outside. She wasn’t at school because it was summer. She stared up at the
clouds wondering what it would be like to fly. Her friend, Zack, who had black hair and
green eyes, came into the yard. It was 9:15am, and Maria was still in her tank top and
shorts that she had slept in. “Wow… you look terrible.” He called out to her. “Gee thanks.
I just woke up.” Maria replied. Zack brought his Scarlet Macaw. Her name was Natalie.
“Hi Natalie. Want a cracker?” Maria asked. “Nope! I’m on a diet!” Natalie squawked. Maria
raised an eyebrow at Zack. “Your parrots on a diet?” She asked. Zack just shrugged and
Natalie did a little dance on his shoulder. Maria and Zack both laughed and Natalie fell on
the ground to play dead. “You have way too much time on your hands if you trained her.
” Maria said. “I’m dying! I got shot! By shooters!!!” Natalie shouted. She made a gurgling
noise and she stayed still. I shook my head at her and Zack poked her with a stick.
“Well… I guess we should burry her now” He said jokingly. Natalie instantly flew up
and announced that she wasn’t dead. “You want to come inside?” Maria asked Zack.
He nodded and they both went in. Maria’s mom had finished her coffee and was in her
robe with messed up hair. “Nice hair Mrs. Anderson.” Zack said jokingly. Maria’s mom
grunted and went upstairs. “Zack do you want anything to eat?” Maria asked.
“Nah I ate breakfast at home.” Zack Replied. Natalie flew in. “I WANT CRACKERS. NOW.”
Natalie squawked. “I thought you were on a diet.” Zack said.
“WELL I STOPPED GOSH. GIRRR. RAWR. DINOS. CRACKERS.” Natalie replied.
Zack and Maria both cracked up and Maria gave her crackers.
Natalie quickly devoured the crackers and demanded more. Zack playfully nudged her
and she squawked. Maria laughed a little and gave her a few more crackers.
Natalie ate them and then asked if she could use the internet. Maria opened a laptop
for her to see what she would do. “Type in parrotpalace.com!” Natalie said.
Maria typed it and Natalie started using the computer. She looked up the diet of Scarlet Macaws.
She seemed to be looking for something. “DANG IT!!!” She yelled. “WE CAN’T EAT BANANAS!”
Zack shook his head and Natalie flew on his shoulder. “You have a really weird bird.”
Maria told him. “Oh ya? Let’s see that chameleon of yours do something.” said Zack.
“My chameleon died last year you idiot.” Maria told him. “Ohhh…” Maria gave him a little
thwack on the head. Zack ignored it and told Maria he was going to the beach in a few weeks.
“Aw lucky duck. I wish I could go to the beach soon.” Maria said. Zack asked if her and her
mom wanted to come. Maria agreed and they asked their parents about it. They agreed to the
plan, and sure enough, it became a couple of days before the trip. They had planned to go for
pretty much the rest of the summer which was about a month and a half. They were going to
have a good time. Zack was definitely taking Natalie with him. Zack and Maria were talking on
the phone as they packed their clothes, sun tan lotion, bathing suits, goggles, etc. Zack started
to joke around and said they were gonna get eaten by sharks. “OH NO!!! YOU GUYS CAN’T
GET EATEN BY SHARKS!!! WHO ELSE IS GOING TO FEED ME CRACKERS!?!?!?” Natalie wailed
over the phone. “Natalie! How’d you get out of your cage?” Zack said. He put Natalie back
in her cage. Zack apologized for Natalie’s behavior. Maria was laughing too hard to say anything.
“Yeah yeah, you’re laughing now, but she’s going to annoy the hell out of you at the beach.”
Zack announced. Maria stopped laughing. Everything was quiet. But then Natalie started
singing a song. Maria laughed again and so did Zack. “Well, I’ll see you at the beach. Well,
in the car on the way to the beach.” said Zack. Maria agreed, and hung up the phone.
They both eagerly awaited the trip.

good story. i only noted a few grammatical errors but otherwise great.

Chapter 2


The day had finally come. Zack and Maria were making sure they had everything
they could possibly need. Maria brought her necklace which seemed to have an
eerie glow sometimes. Zack brought his black pearl that he found while deep sea
diving once. In the car, Zack and Maria were debating on what to do if Natalie
went crazy. Zack thought of shooting her with a tranquilizer dart, while Maria
thought of putting her in a straight jacket. Natalie protested and said if she
went crazy, she would most likely become supreme ruler of the world, and they
would have to give her crackers. Zack and Maria both declined that and Natalie
threw a hissy fit. Zack groaned under his breath. The beach was only 2 more hours
away. It seemed to take forever because of Natalie. She would be crying about
not having crackers, or not being normal, or something like that. They finally got
to the beach, and picked their rooms. Zack and Maria had bedrooms right across
the hall from each other. Natalie took turns sleeping in the same room with Maria
and Zack. They got in their bathing suits, and went swimming. Maria took a look
at Zack, who was staring at her oddly. “What the hell are you looking at?” Maria
asked. Zack looked up to her eyes. “Er… nothing…” Zack replied. Maria shook
her head at him and her necklace started to glow. Maria and Zack both looked
at it uneasily. Maria suddenly was pulled underwater. Zack plunged in after her.
It was a good thing that they were both wearing goggles, so they would be able
to see underwater. Zack swam down deeper after Maria who seemed like she was
being dragged. Zack was able to get her back to shallow water, but Maria was
shaking when she got there. Maria looked at Zack, who had saved her life. She
hugged him tightly and he hugged her back. This is going to be a great trip…
Zack thought to himself as he kept hugging Maria. Maria wouldn’t let go of
Zack or move because she was so traumatized. Zack sighed and dragged her
back to the beach house. He was about to start scraping her on the wood,
when Maria stood up. “I’m going to go take a shower…” She said and walked inside.
Zack also went to take a shower and thought about Maria being dragged
on to the depths. He wondered what was dragging her, and what caused her
necklace to have a bright glow. Maria and Zack came out of the shower at about
the same time. They sat down on a couch and began to talk about what
happened in the water. Natalie flew in and joined the conversation. Zack locked
Natalie in her cage and put it in his room. When he came back, Maria was just laying
on the couch face up. They were both still in their bathing suits, not bothering
to change them before they took a shower. Maria rolled over and fell on the floor.
“Ow.” She muttered face down. Zack chuckled and so did Maria. Later that day,
Zack Natalie, and Maria ventured into a forest that was a bit far away from the
beach house. They eventually got so deep, they decided to turn back. They
couldn’t find their way out of the forest. Maria had only come in a tank top
and short shorts, while Zack just had a short sleeved shirt with shorts. They
started getting very worried. They asked Natalie if she could fly up, but she
refused because of a strange presence. Maria and Zack both prayed that
they would be found soon and be taken home. A few minutes after they
finished, a strange person came over and greeted them. He seemed about their age, maybe a year or two older. “And who might you be?” the person asked. Zack and Maria calmly
explained their situation, and the person noticed Maria’s necklace. “Come with me.
Both of you.” He said. Maria and Zack followed him into a gigantic area filled
with people, giant hammocks, and in the center of it all, was a giant tree.
Maria and Zack couldn’t see the area too well because of all the people in it.
“This, is tribe 713…” said the person. “By the way, my name’s Brian. You?”
he asked. Zack and Maria told their names and asked a billion questions on how
and what was tribe 713.

nice. i have a feeling this is going to be a really good story once the whole thing is finished

There are gonna be quite a few chapters. Of course im working on the third chapter right now.
