I smile, getting out of the car and locking it securely. Probably not too smart to leave a brand new Ferrari in the middle of the city, but what did I have to lose? I put the keys in my pocket and take Des' hand. "Anywhere you want to go?" I ask, walking down the one loooonnnggg block towards Times Square.

"Alright." I say, pulling her through the hordes of people. We turn the corner, Times Square in all of its glory in front of us. Night was really the best time to come. "This is Times Square, in case you didn't realize."

"It is," I agree. I think it's hard not to be amazed seeing Times Square at night even after seeing it every day. I notice her necklace is glowing and wonder if some other sort of natural disaster happened... I hope not.
Ooc: I know, life is boring. (Especially off the computer!) but if you need an AWESOME book, try the Forest of Hands and Teeth. It's amazing. And it's fine. I complain a lot too. Razz

I nod. I was somewhat surprised her necklace didn't glow 24/7. The world was pretty messed up. We walk through the very loud New York City, passing by pretty much any type of store you could imagine. A giant Toys R Us, random weird restaurants, some really strange clubs, a giant Hershey store. Pretty much anywhere you would want to go and more was in the city.

I smile. "Sure, if you want. There's an ice-skating rink in Rockefeller Center, you know the really big one that's on TV sometimes." I smile. "It's not that far."
