Callisto Lynne Baker, slowly finds her way into the forges. Being blind this was a difficult task for her, and quite tiring. However being a daughter of Gaea, she is able to feel motions and objects through the earth. That is why she is walking barefoot. She enters the forge, and stops a distance away from the blaze. She couldn't feel the blaze, but she could feel the heat. What Callisto needs is a person, a child of Hepheastus to be exact. However she can't tell if she's alone here or what. There was so many large objects she couldn't tell, well not until the person if they were here was to move.

"Is anyone here?"she calls out. Calliso was at the forges because she needed a new weapon. To be exact she'd like a nice new sword. Her old one was pretty much falling apart, and it was becoming very unsafe. She takes out her old sword and runs her fingers over the sharp edge. Oh let's not forget dull. "I need help, making a new sword"she adds to her previous statement. Callisto then slowly puts her sword down by her side. She hoped she wouldn't have to wait a long time. She hates waiting.

Gray shields his eyes from the sudden burst of light that pours in through the open door. He let's out a quiet hiss, as if it burns, just to exaggerate his irritation. A young brunette girl walks in, looking a little lost. Or maybe clueless. He bits his bottom lip and swings his legs quietly from the beam he is seated upon. The beam is several feet up in the air, a pole of thick steel that forms multiple triangles, the support that keeps the ceiling from collapsing. Basic architecture, but it makes for a nice seat.

He tightens his grip on the end of a small black automaton resembling a dragonfly. It's wings flick every once in a while, and a small red light blinks from where the eyes would be. He sits a minute, waiting for the girl to notice him sitting in front of her, but she doesn't. Upon further discovery, she is blind. Well, that explains it.

Casually, he clears his throat to make his presence known. And as he does, she addresses him. Well, not him specifically, but a child of Hephaestus. And he was the only one around. His nose crinkles, and he can already tell she's going to ask him to build some contraption or another. With a slight roll of his eyes he addresses her. It's not particularly polite, but that's Grayson. "Yo. What are you doing in the Hephaestus forge?" It's a stupid question, as he already knows, but as soon as she told he out loud, he could deny it and shoo her away.

Unless she had something valuable to trade for it.

Callisto senses the sudden movement as someone lands on the ground. She slowly turns her body so she's facing the direction of the movements. What was she doing here? Not only did the tone sound bad, but it's kind of rude. "I'd like someone to help me make a sword. That is why I'm here"she says to the boy.

Callisto then folds her arms across her chest and stands there. "I don't supposed you'd help me. I'm willing to pay"she says to the boy. Callisto had learned that most Hepheastus kids wouldn't help unless you paid them. That's why she came prepared with eight golden drachmas. Depending on how he coorpirated, he'd get paid all eight or less than eight.

Callisto stands there, waiting. She was trying to her best to be patient, but it was hard. All she wants is a sword. If he wasn't going to coorpirate, she'd have to find someone else. And finding someone else would take a lot of effort. It would be so much easier if he agreed. Callisto then gets an idea. She reaches into her pocket and takes out the drachmas. She shows them to the boy, before pulling them closer to her, so he wouldn't try taking them. "All yours if you help me"Callisto tells the boy.

Grayson is about to reply with, "My goods ain't for free" until his attention is diverted to a glimmer of golden coins shuffled in her hands. Quickly, she draws them to her chest, and he grins. "How many's that?" His eyesight wasn't good enough to see how many from across the room. Although, it's still better than hers. "If it's any less than twenty, you'll need to cough up more onto the table. My work? It ain't easy. I require more than just currency for my services." He adjusts himself on the pole so that his back is pressed against the wall, in a carefree, slouched posture. "Ten drachmas'll get'cha a sword. A plain old sword, maybe with happy birthday or something etched into the hilt. Pay the right price, though, and I can carve designs, bend the hilt into patterns, curve the blade and alter the weight. I can paint it for ya, pretty much anything. Add half a side of silver, to slice through any type of creature."

Hadix twitches in his hand, and the wings begin to beat, almost silently. A strange squeak errupts from the base of the black dragonfly, and Grayson lets go quickly. The wings begin to flap quickly enough that it could take off any one of Grayon's fingers if he puts his hand in the way. The small machine falls halfway to the ground before picking up speed and roaming forward, towards the small girl stationed at the entry of the forge. Hadix analyses her in a fullbody scan, before buzzing in circles around her, seemingly without reason.

Grayson can already tell that his pet dragonfly's emotion box has been activated, and that he's trying to make friends with the customer. He rolls his eyes and smirks. "Eight drachmas. Discounted, 'cause my little friend likes you. Eight, and you've got a sword. More, and you can get it custom-designed to suit your liking. I could even try to pull a few strings and get it enchanted." He bits his lip and frowns slightly, with sudden concern for her. "Eh, don't touch the dragonfly, by the way. He'll take off your hand."
