STORYLINE PT 2

Here is PT 2 of the Storyline....

Kal-ee watched with glee as a camper tripped over his on shoes and fell face first in the sand. Her brother, Hisher, watched next to her, his eyes glinting. The siblings of Seth both looked at each other, grinning when Hisher saw Lauren Ra, cousin of Anubis Ra, pass by.

"Hey, Laura!" he called, trying to think of a way to cause trouble.

"Lauren!" she shouted back, turning to Hisher."If you can't get my name right, then don't talk to me."

"Why not?" Kal-ee asked. Immediately, Lauren got the feeling that they were planning something behind her back. She clenched her jaw, but began to walk away.

Kal-ee turned to Hisher, scowling."Come on, Hisher. Let's go bother Anubis, shall we?"

"Of course." Hisher and Kal-ee paused, then climbed off the roof of their cabin and towards the unsuspecting Anubis Ra, who was reading over the scroll that Ra had given back to her.

"Hey, Ra!" Hisher shouted at Anubis. She looked up, impassive, and locked eyes with the son and daughter of Seth.

"What is it?" she asked, looking back down at her scroll. Kal-ee reached forward and snatched it out of her hands."HEY!"

"What's this?" Kal-ee mused, reading the scroll quickly. "Whoa, a prophecy? Seriously? What sort of insane person would give a prophecy to you?"

"Shut up!" Anubis roared, and grabbed the scroll back. "This is none of your business, Kal-ee."

Kal-ee grinned, almost too sweetly for her own good. "Ah well. My dad tells me everything."

"Because he's an irresponsible brat."

Hisher and Kal-ee scowled. "He is not!" Hisher protested. "He's better than Ra!"

"We can live without chaos and the desert," Anubis retorted. "Everything needs the sun."

"Children," a voice rumbled. Ra lumbered out of his office, scowling. "All three of you, be quiet. This is none of your business, Kal-ee and Hisher, and Anubis, be nicer." He glanced at the sky, which was dark and cloudy. "This is not a good sign," Ra muttered uneasily. "The gods are angry at each other, and I'm starting to think the children are the cause."
